OUR CONTRACT

Less Plastic’s acceptance of your order commences when your order is dispatched. At this point the purchase contract starts, you will be sent a dispatch confirmation by email. Your Right To Cancel You may normally cancel your order (once accepted by us) for any reason up to the point of dispatch (normally the same day or next day). COMPLAINTS

Complaints will be dealt with speedily, fairly and effectively. We guarantee to respond to all complaints and to notify you as to the likely timescale and progress of the solution. Conformity of Goods We take every care to ensure that the descriptions and specifications of our products are correct at the time of going online. However, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close likeness, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

We aim to send orders out within 48 hours of them being placed, if the item is in stock. UK Deliveries may take up to 5 working days to be delivered. For deliveries outside the UK, we will provide a shipping quote and estimated delivery date via email with instructions of how to make payment.

CANCELLATION RIGHT

Under the distance selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days upon receipt of your goods.

RETURNS POLICY

We will exchange or refund a product as long as it is in a resalable condition with the product packaging intact. Returns must be sent back to us within 30 days of the date of purchase. Please email us to let us know you are returning an item and why, and include a note with your returned item with your contact details and stating whether you would like a refund or an exchange. Please obtain a proof of postage (and insurance if you wish) when returning your item, as we regret that we cannot accept responsibility for goods in transit from our customers. If you are returning a faulty item, or an order due to an error on our behalf, we will refund the cost of the return postage. Otherwise, the cost of returning an item for refund or exchange is non-refundable. As soon as we receive the returned item, we will process the refund or exchange. Should we find the returned item is not in a fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item. None of the above conditions affect your statutory rights when goods are faulty, or not as described.

PAYMENT & TAXES

Full payment for your items will be taken on confirmation of your order. We accept online payment in a secure environment by credit card through Stripe. All transactions are shown in pounds sterling (£). All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£). Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict them. We endeavour to display through this website all items in our current range. We aim to hold a good quantity of stock for each product. However, an item will occasionally be out of stock, and we will do our best to notify you as soon as possible about delivery timings or alternatives.

CREDIT/ DEBIT CARD PAYMENTS (Stripe)

When you pay using a credit / debit card our payment service provider will ask you for CVV2/CVC2 verification. This is quite normal for website purchases. 3d-secure-logos Our payment service provider protects your card from unauthorised use by what’s called 3D Secure Payment. After you enter your credit card details, a window will appear requesting your personal security code. Your financial institution will authenticate the transaction within seconds, as well as confirm that you are the individual making the purchase. Stripe is audited annually under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) and has been certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider, the most stringent level of certification available. You can confirm their certification in Visa’s registry of service providers. Stripe is also a participant in the PCI Security Standards Council.

No liability is accepted by us for any offence, or loss you may suffer as a result of the content of the goods. You should be aware that no-one can guarantee the effects of using any particular product over another and anything can be dangerous if used inappropriately. Less Plastic Limited will not accept responsibility for any injury or illness caused by failing to take proper medical advice or not following instructions properly. You are responsible for ensuring that a product is suitable for your own needs and this includes avoiding products that include materials you are intolerant, sensitive or may react to.

NOTICES

All notices sent by you to us must be sent to Less Plastic Ltd, Iron Peartree House, Tilburstow Hill Road, Godstone, RH9 8NA. We may give notice to you at either the e-mail or postal address you provide to us in the order. Notice will be deemed received and properly served on you 24 hours after an e-mail is sent or three days after the date of posting of any letter. In proving the service of any notice, it will be sufficient to prove, in the case of a letter, that the letter was properly addressed, stamped and placed in the post and, in the case of an e-mail that the e-mail was sent to the specified e-mail address of the addressee.
